Design pieces handmade in Uruguay
Taller Clavelli is integrated by Carlos Clavelli and Rocio García.
Carlos Clavelli is an Uruguayan artisan. Since 1983 he has dedicated himself exclusively to the creation, design and production of wooden sculptural objects.
Rocio García is a Museology technician, studied Anthropology and is a researcher in Traditional Crafts.
Together they form a small-scale family workshop where they personally produce their creations.
The work of Taller Clavelli is part of the so-called contemporary urban craftsmanship, characterized by the existence of small workshops, with emphasis on design quality and innovation. They received the UNESCO Award of excellence for Handicrafts in 2012, 2014 and 2018.
The pieces are handmade in his family workshop in Montevideo, Uruguay.
