Textile Center: Away of Chinchero

In the foundation of Centro de Textiles Tradicionales del Cusco, a group of weavers from Chinchero played an important role; today there are more than 40 members in the weaver Association. Their work to revive traditional textiles began in the late 1970s, and they were the first group to enact this goal. Since then, they have contribuited and continue to inspire respect and recognition for their textiles.
