Dupioni silk is a beautiful, distinctive silk fabric. It is made using slightly irregular silk filaments, traditionally from two silkworms whose cocoons become intertwined. That gives Dupioni its characteristic crisp hand, luminous sheen, and visible horizontal slubs (the tiny irregular lines and variations across the fabric).
