This handmade silk Suzani piece was made in the workshop of master artisan, Sanjar Ravshanovich Nazarov in the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan, located along the historic Silk Road. Nazarov comes from a long line of artisans specializing in this traditional silk-embroidery, for which the region has become famous. His stunning pieces have earned him international recognition, including receiving the UNESCO Award of Excellence.
